The Thorny Devil is covered in spiny, warty protuberances. Narrow channels between the scales act to draw precious droplets of dew or rain to its mouth by capillary action. The horns are mostly hollow modified scales.

The donkey or ass is arguably the noblest beast in all of the animal kingdom. The ass is sober, patient, cautious, intelligent, sure-footed, has good stamina and contrary to common belief is not stubborn. The dog may be man’s best friend but the ass is no stranger.

Indigo Snake

Indigo snakes feed on vertebrates, including fish, frogs, toads, lizards, snakes, birds and small mammals. They are diurnal hunters and travel long distances in a day actively searching for prey. They are non-venomous and they overpower their prey, sometimes swallowing them whole and alive.

Envenomed Foot

A snake bite does not necessarily mean an envenomed bite, injection of venom is under the snake's control. Snakes will often (about 50% of the time) deliver a "dry bite" where venom is not injected. Should you be bitten, remain calm under all circumstances. Panic and shock are bigger killers than venom.
